Race at the Cape

Cape Henry Collegiate’s Race at the Cape is celebrating over 20 years as an amazing family-oriented health and wellness activity for both the Cape Henry community and Hampton Roads runners and walkers. This year's race will take place on Saturday, October 9 at Cape Henry Collegiate. This annual event benefits the programs and activities of Cape Henry Collegiate. The race typically draws over 450 participants and is the perfect kick-off to the School’s Fall Festival and Alumni Reunion Weekend! All participants receive a custom medal, t-shirt, and race swag bag. At Cape Henry Collegiate, community is one of our core values and this event affords us a great opportunity to come together as a community for a good cause.

Race at the Cape Prep Program
There is no better feeling than entering an event and being truly prepared. The Prep Program will take participants on a four-week journey that will slowly and steadily progress them towards the Race at the Cape 5K. Students in all grades and their families will be provided a PDF outline to follow the program and track their progress.
