Another school year has ended for Cape Henry Collegiate, one filled with accomplishments for our students and our School. I thank you, on behalf of the entire Cape Henry community, for supporting our programs in the 2012-2013 school year and for making possible rigorous academic offerings and a set of enduring Core Values that prepare students to achieve success.
As an independent school, our constituents and community are asked to consider support of the daily operations of the School by participating in our Annual Fund campaign and Grand Auction, and also to act as stewards for the School by supporting capital improvements and endowment efforts. We cannot thank you enough for your overwhelming support last year.
Our financial successes reflect the powerful cooperative spirit on which Cape Henry was founded that has endured over the past 89 years. Our community came together in support of the Annual Fund, helping us to raise more than ever before through annual giving for vital school programs and operating costs.
Because of your incredible support, we have been able to expand our curriculum offerings, incorporate more advanced technology in the learning process, send students around the world in our Nexus program, win conference and state titles in sports and music, offer faculty professional development opportunities, and provide additional financial aid for those in need.
We were able to do all of this and more . . . because of you!
Thank you parents, students, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, Trustees, and friends for the many ways you have contributed to Cape Henry Collegiate this past year and for the trust you place in Cape Henry’s administration and faculty to assure a superior education for your children and the future of this remarkable school. It is a true privilege to be a part of this community.
Thank you for supporting our students and teachers!
