Extended School Day Program
ESDP is one way to assure that your child is not only cared for, but also grows in academics, recreation, and socialization areas. Licensed by the Department of Social Services for Prekindergarten 3 through Grade 5 students, the program meets the needs of both the working family and the child who wants more socialization at the end of the day.
All children in ESDP benefit from supervised recreation with their friends. Older children have homework sessions, which allow families to enjoy their evenings together. Younger children participate in arts and crafts and other activities which allow them to play and learn in a relaxed environment. Nutritious snacks are provided by the school. Group recreation and sports activities encourage children to have fun and exercise in a safe and familiar setting.
The Program Director for ESDP works closely with the Department of Social Services to ensure a safe and quality program for our children.
The academic year program is available on school days from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Currently, we are unable to offer before-school care and require families to enroll on a full- year basis. There is no drop-in option.
For available summer options, please visit the Summer Programs webpage.
Our Extended School Day Program (ESDP) contract for the 2023-2024 school year will be available in May.
At this time, ESDP will be offered after-school only, until 5:30 p.m. and slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. We are presently unable to offer before-school care.
