Listen Everywhere

Option 1: Listen EVERYWHERE App

Cape Henry Collegiate is proud to offer assistive listening technology through the Listen EVERYWHERE. The Listen EVERYWHERE app provides assistive listening, language interpretation and audio/video streaming. 
 

Getting Started

  1. Connect to the Wi-Fi network (chcs-guest).
  2. Download the free Listen EVERYWHERE app using one of the links below.
  3. Access the channel of your choice and enter any required password if the channel is designated as private.
  4. Use your own headphones or earbuds to access audio.

Option 2: Listen EVERYWHERE LR-3200 Receiver

Available during select presentations in the box office, located in the lobby of the Clarke+Ervin Center for Innovation and Performing Arts. 

Button Basics

Power:
To turn on the receiver, press and hold the power button for 1 second. The top LED will dimly illuminate. To turn off the receiver, press and hold for 3 seconds. The LED will extinguish.
 
Volume:
To adjust the volume, momentarily press the up or down button until the volume is comfortable.
 

Channel Select:

Channel E is the default channel. Channels A, E and H are available in basic mode.

To change the default channel, press and hold both volume buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. The front program LED will begin to flash red. Use the volume up or down button to scroll through the available channels. Current channel will be heard in the ear speaker. Momentarily press the power button to lock the receiver on the selected channel.

Setup Instructions

When fully charged, the top LED is solid, indicating 100% charged. Connect the earphone/neck loop lanyard and ear speaker or headphones to the output jacks.
 

Charging

When the battery is low, the top LED will begin to flash slowly. To charge, place the unit in the charging tray/case or connect the micro USB to any standard USB port.

We Care Hearing Protection

This product is designed to amplify audio to a high volume level which could potentially cause hearing damage if used improperly. To protect your hearing, make sure the volume is turned down before putting on the ear speaker or headphones, the adjust the volume to your preference. Children should be supervised when using this product.
 

Medical Device Safety

Before using this product with an implantable or other device consult with your physician or manufacturer of the device. Always make sure you are using this product in accordance with the safety guidelines established by your physician or the manufacturer.
