Cape Henry Parents' Association

The Cape Henry Parents' Association (CHPA) plays a vital role in the Cape Henry Collegiate community. Its mission is to foster meaningful relationships among parents and guardians, strengthen school spirit, encourage involvement, and inspire enthusiasm for the school community.
What CHPA Does
🤝 Supports School Events
CHPA partners with the Lower, Middle, and Upper School divisions to enhance a wide range of school events. From dances and the Powder Puff game to Field Day and more, CHPA helps bring these experiences to life. The association also plans and produces the beloved Fall Festival, held after the Race at the Cape.
🍎 Celebrates Faculty & Staff
CHPA proudly shows appreciation for our faculty and staff throughout the year. The association hosts two annual appreciation luncheons and organizes thoughtful treats, meals, discounts, and special surprises. CHPA also coordinates regular snack restocks, ensuring our teachers and staff feel supported and valued.
🎉 Builds School Spirit
From decorating school lobbies for the first day of school, Halloween, and Winter to hosting parent socials and supporting special spirit events, CHPA helps foster a vibrant sense of Dolphin pride across campus.
🏀 Partners with Athletics
Working closely with the Athletics Department, CHPA promotes games and champions our student-athletes. Athletic spirit nights—complete with pizza, popsicles, pom-poms, and more—create an energetic and supportive game-day atmosphere.
🎭 Supports the Arts
In collaboration with the Arts Programs Committee, CHPA supports year-round arts programming, including art shows, plays, musicals, and special events. This partnership ensures that the arts remain an integral and vibrant part of the school community.
Why Get Involved?
Getting involved with CHPA is an excellent opportunity to meet other families, support the Cape Henry Collegiate community, and help create memorable experiences for students and staff. All parents and guardians are welcome to participate, and involvement can easily fi t any schedule. Joining CHPA means being part of a supportive network that makes a positive impact on the school community.
