Rock-It Science: Ultimate Fun and Games
If you like to play games and get a bit messy, this is the camp for you! Donut eating on a string, Parachute Water Launcher, and life-size Hungry, Hungry, Hippo are just a few over the top games that will have campers asking if we can play again! We will team up to build the ultimate cardboard maze to put our creativity to the test and will make some games that you can take home and play too!
Dates: June 15 -19 -AM
Rock-It Science: Blast Off Camp
Whether it’s blasting objects through the air or exploring the cosmos, we all love to see and send things flying! Air rockets, Mento eruptions, baking soda explosions, are just a few ways we will get things soaring. We may even sneak a little engineering lesson, but our campers may not notice. They will be too busy hurling plastic bottles, planes, rockets, and more through the air!
Dates: June 15 - 19 -PM
Rock-It Science: Super Slime Master Camps
This camp will be for those who love to get a bit messy. We will mix up some slimes we can’t mix up with our younger peers. Color changing and magnetic slime are just a few. We will even try some new combinations as we become mad scientists and discover new polymer mixtures!
Session 1: June 29 - July 2 (No Camps July 3) -PM
Session 2: July 13 - 17 -PM
Rock-It Science: ART LAB!
Science is a highly concrete subject in which students rarely have the opportunity to be creative. By integrating art projects into your science lessons, you can create super cool artwork and learn some super cool science too!
Dates: June 29 - July 2 (No Camps July 3) - AM
Rock-It Science: The Art of Cooking
Cooking is truly an art form! We will explore not only the science of cooking but make beautiful creations that may be almost too pretty to eat! Galaxy cookies, dinosaur waffles, and veggie animals just to name a few. No need to bring a snack for this camp, we will do plenty of taste testing and decorate containers to take some home too!
Dates: July 13 -17 - AM
Rock-It Science: Super Secret Master Spy Training
If you missed out on this fun, adventurous camp last year, it’s not too late to get the training you need to earn your Super Spy Status! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to explore glow-in-the-dark science, go on scavenger hunts, and decode clues that lead to top-secret messages!
Dates: July 27 - 31 - AM
Rock-It Science: Shark Week
Today there are more than 465 known species of sharks living in our oceans. We will sink our teeth into interesting facts about sharks and create shark habitat bottles. Join us as we maneuver through a seaweed course, create shark art, and conduct experiments that will teach us about these beautiful ocean creatures.
Dates: July 27 - 31- PM
