  • Field Hockey 101

    Don’t miss out on this awesome field hockey program brought to you by Kylie Nations, former collegiate standout and current Cape Henry Collegiate assistant coach for the TCIS and State Champion Varsity Field Hockey team. Your child will learn the fundamentals of field hockey through skills and small gameplay. Field hockey is a sport that develops hand-eye coordination, agility, and overall fitness. Most importantly your child will play in an atmosphere of positivity and will be encouraged and rewarded to do their best regardless of ability.

    Dates: March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 29, May 13, and 20 (8 sessions)

  • Soccer Shots

    The pros from Soccer Shots return to Cape Henry after fantastic fall and winter sessions. This uniquely designed program introduces children to soccer in a fun, safe, and controlled environment. Students will learn basic soccer skills, participate in fun games, and enjoy healthy competition. Soccer Shots emphasizes character-forming lessons such as fair play, individual concentration, cooperation, and encouragement. Space is limited. Sign up early!

  • Violin Lessons

    Ms. Weisbrod holds two post-graduate degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and has been teaching violin for nearly twenty years.
    She teaches a hybrid of Suzuki method and technique learned directly from students of the infamous Stolyarsky Music School in Odessa. Her group classes focus on these methods while cultivating social approaches to music and progress, including exercises on active listening and articulation. Beginning violin classes will cover posture and fundamental techniques, and, if continued, will lead to reading music, hearing melody and harmony lines, as well as learning constructive analysis with their peers about the work they are doing. Group and/or private lessons will continue for those interested. * Instruments will not be provided in this program. Please contact Ms. Weisbrod for a recommendation or visit for violin rentals.
