  • Art Adventures - Fall Fun

    The fall season is full of vibrant colors and textures. It's the perfect source for artistic inspiration! Students will be able to express their inner artist while working in an environment that nurtures their individual creative abilities. What better way to enjoy Autumn than exploring the season through drawing, painting, and crafts!

  • Beach Games

    Beach Games features a variety of outdoor fun! Campers will enjoy the fresh air with games like spikeball, cornhole, ladder golf, frisbee, and much more! We will even mix in fan favorites like Four Square and kickball! Students will test their competitive sides in this brand new adventure led by Mr. Tyler Faubert.

  • Beyblades Tournament

    Join Ms. Elliott is this brand new adventure while competing in the increasingly popular activity, Beyblades. Grab your friends and join the Tournament of Champions as we compete each week to determine the Beyblades Champion. Students will use Beyblades to learn strategy and problem-solving in a fun and exciting environment.

  • Boys Lacrosse

    Join Cape Henry Collegiate Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach Joe Thompson and members of the Dolphins Lacrosse program to capture the excitement of the game of lacrosse. This program is open to boys of all skill levels, from beginner to experienced, and the program staff will blend fun drills, games, and competitions to grow your skills and your passion for the game. We participate in the sport because we love the sport, and we hope this program is a way for you to get to know and love “the fastest game on two feet.” All players are required to provide their own stick and equipment (stick, helmet, and gloves required, shoulder and elbow pads recommended).

  • Coding Fun

    Join Ms. Buchardt for afternoons full of coding fun! Learn computer programing skills which will focus on the foundations of coding and computer commands. This program is designed to develop and foster creativity and problem solving skills in a fun and engaging environment. The students will learn basic coding to build their own characters, video games, and more!

  • Dodgeball

    Join us for our ultra-popular program that includes several crazy fun versions of the game dodgeball! The emphasis is on fun, teamwork, and exercise. This program helps develop agility, speed, and good body awareness as well as powers of analysis and problem-solving skills. Participants will work on throwing, catching, and ball-shielding skills in addition to dodging skills. Participants will use new coated, foam dodgeballs. These balls are perfect for safe, FUN play!

  • Flag Football

    It is football time again at Cape Henry! Mr. V leads Flag Football as he teaches the fundamentals of catching, passing, blocking, deflagging, defensive positioning, punting, and kicking. Participants will also have the opportunity to play in skills competitions and scrimmages. Throw on your jersey and grab your flags because it is football time!   • Girls' Lacrosse

    Join former Cape Henry Collegiate Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse standout Courtney Boyce and members of the Dolphins lacrosse program to experience the excitement of Lacrosse. This program is open to girls of all skill levels, from beginner to experienced, and the program staff will blend fun drills, games, and competitions to develop skills and a love for the game. All players are required to provide their own stick, goggles, and mouthguard.

  • JEDI Engineering with LEGO®

    The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles as we construct the Ewok Village on Endor, fly through space on our X-Wings, and defend the Echo Base on Hoth. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!

  • Let's Write! - Creative Writing for Middle School

    If you love to write stories or poetry, join our weekly group for creative writing activities and challenges. Middle School writers will explore various prompts - fiction, description, opinion, and photo - and experiment with different styles of writing. During our last session, participants will be encouraged to display their best creative writing on the Middle School hallway bulletin board. Additionally, students will select pieces to share with the Cape Henry Community through a digital link in the Dolphin Digest. Composition books and folders will be provided.

  • Lower School Chess

    The game of Kings has been around for centuries, and there are a ton of reasons why! Beginners will develop a love for the game while learning the movements while advanced players will gain experience to take their game to another level! Students will learn and compete to increase critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as improve mathematical and logical reasoning. Participants will learn how each piece moves, strategies and tactics, castling, en passant, promotions, and much more. Students will benefit from individual instruction, as well as enjoy competing in a class tournament.

  • Lower School Wrestling

    Join Varsity Wrestling Head Coach Jack Effner in this physical development program that introduces students to the sport of wrestling. Students will learn the basics of wrestling through skills training and practice sessions. Get ready, as this activity will be challenging with sport-specific games and competitions. Sessions will be fun for students with a variety of physical activities mixed with important fundamentals of wrestling. (Students must be 6 years old to participate).

  • Message In Motion Cheerleading

    Have you ever wanted to learn the cheers you hear at your favorite team's football or basketball game? Do you love showing school spirit? Then this is the class for you! Cheer your school on to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y while learning all the basics of this sport including motions, jumps, chants and cheers, and mini stunts and tumbling where appropriate. Cheers will be customized to Cape Henry, (school colors, mascot, and name incorporated into cheers), so students can carry over their cheers throughout the year at school sporting events! Build on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall athleticism while doing activities that build self-esteem and teamwork! Students will showcase what they have learned at an end of the session in class "pep rally" for parents! GO DOLPHINS!

    What to wear: Comfy, stretchy clothing including cheer shorts/leggings/t-shirts with sneakers and socks. There will be an option to purchase a uniform.

  • Obstacle Course Fun

    Join Mr. Tyler Faubert as students focus on movement fundamentals- running, climbing, rolling, and balancing while experiencing the fun and excitement of obstacle courses. This program will build coordination, self-confidence, and strength while promoting physical fitness as the students learn new skills in a fun and safe environment. Students will participate in a weekly obstacle course and wrap up each session with fun games and activities.

  • Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Art

    Join us as we have fun creating works of art this fall. We will explore different textures, colors, and methods. We will use a variety of supplies to create process art. We will even get to read stories and sing songs that go along with our art lessons each week. Come join in the fun as we learn the process of art is just as exciting as the end result!

  • Rock It Science: Wacky Labs

    Gravity, force, absorption, and matter, are just a few science concepts we will touch on as we get a little wacky and conduct labs! We will make light bend, gummy bears grow, and raindrops colorful as we investigate using the scientific method! We will conduct a special Wacky Halloween lab too!

  • Soccer Shots

    The pros from Soccer Shots are returning to Cape Henry after another fantastic school year. This uniquely designed program introduces children to soccer in a fun, safe, and controlled environment. Students will learn basic soccer skills, participate in fun games, and enjoy healthy competition. Soccer Shots emphasizes character-forming lessons such as fair play, individual concentration, cooperation, and encouragement.

  • Teen Studio - Drawing Dynamics

    This is it! If you want to draw better, you must first learn how to see and think like an artist. We will go big and bold while exploring the foundation of the rest of the visual arts. Learn all the techniques needed to draw anything you want. Plus, use a wide variety of drawing media in new and exciting ways! If you are ready to take your drawing skills to greater heights, this is the class for you!

  • Wiffle Ball - Baseball

    Join Tyler Faubert and members of Dolphin Baseball to capture the excitement of America’s pastime through the game of wiffleball. This program is open to boys and girls of all skill levels, from beginner to experienced. The program staff will blend fun drills, games, and competitions to grow your skills and passion for the game of baseball. Whether you are looking to learn to sport or just have fun, we have a place for you! Each session will conclude with an enjoyable game of wiffleball. All players are required to bring a glove, please contact Tyler Faubert for the availability of equipment.
