  • Art Adventures: Fall Fun

    The fall season is full of vibrant colors and textures. It's the perfect source for artistic inspiration! Students will be able to express their inner artist while working in an environment that nurtures their individual creative abilities.   • Baseball

    Join Tyler Faubert and members of the Dolphins baseball program to capture the excitement of America’s pastime. This program is open to boys and girls of all skills levels, from beginner to experienced. The program staff will blend fun drills, games, and competitions to grow your skills and passion for the game. All players are required to bring a helmet, glove, and bat.   • Boys Lacrosse

    Join Varsity Head Coach Joe Thompson and members of the Dolphins lacrosse program to capture the excitement of the game of lacrosse. This program is open to boys of all skills levels, from beginner to experienced, and the program staff will blend fun drills, games and competitions to grow your skills and passion your for the game. We participate in the sport because we love the sport, and we hope this program is a way for you to get to know and love “the fastest game on two feet.” All players are required to provide their own stick and equipment (helmet, gloves, shoulder and elbow pads).   • Chess

    The game of Kings has been around for centuries, and there are a ton of reasons why! Students will learn and compete to increase critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as improve mathematical and logical reasoning. Participants will also learn how each piece moves, strategies, tactics, castling, en passant, promotions, and much more. Beginners will develop a love of the game while advanced players will gain experience to take their game to another level. Students will benefit from individual instruction, as well as enjoy competing in a class tournament. Maximum Enrollment: 20

  • Coding Fun

    Join Ms. Buchardt for afternoons full of coding fun! Learn computer programing skills which will focus on the foundations of coding and computer commands. This program is designed to develop and foster creativity and problem solving skills in a fun and engaging environment.   • Dodgeball

    Join us for our ultra-popular program that includes several crazy fun versions of the game dodgeball! The emphasis is on fun, teamwork, and exercise. This program helps develop agility, speed, and good body awareness as well as powers of analysis and problem-solving skills. Participants will work on throwing, catching, and ball-shielding skills in addition to dodging skills. Participants will use new coated, foam dodgeballs. These balls are perfect for safe, FUN play!   • Flag Football

    It is football time again at Cape Henry! Mr. V leads Flag Football as he teaches the fundamentals of catching, passing, blocking, deflagging, defensive positioning, punting, and kicking. Participants will also have the opportunity to play in skills competitions and scrimmages. Throw on your jersey and grab your flags because it is football time!     Join Former Cape Henry Varsity Girls Lacrosse standout Courtney Boyce and members of the Dolphins lacrosse program to experience the game of lacrosse.   • Jump Rope for Fun and Fitness

    Grab a rope and jump into the new school year by having fun learning new jump rope tricks and games. Students will be active as they practice their favorite jump-rope activities and learn new skills as well. Instruction will be given in single, partner, and long-rope skills while they jump to some of their favorite music. Jump ropes will be provided. Jump into the action today! Maximum enrollment: 20

  • Message In Motion: Cheerleading (Grades 1 - 5)

    Ready? Set?! Cheer! Have you ever wanted to learn the cheers you hear at your favorite team's football game? Do you love showing school spirit? Then this class from Message in Motion is for you! Cheer your team to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y while learning all the basics of this sport, including motions, jumps, chants, and cheers. Build on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall athleticism while doing fun activities that build self-esteem, leadership, and teamwork! Students will showcase what they have learned at the end of the session in the class "pep rally" for parents! GO DOLPHINS! Maximum Enrollment: 20

  • Play-Well: Intro to STEM Fall

    Ratchet up your imagination with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as Motorcycles, Castles, Airplanes, and Monorails. Then use special pieces to create your own unique design! New and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.     Gravity, force, absorption, and matter, are just a few science concepts we will touch on as we get a little wacky and conduct labs!   • Soccer Shots

    The pros from Soccer Shots are returning to Cape Henry after another fantastic school year. This uniquely designed program introduces children to soccer in a fun, safe, and controlled environment. Students will learn basic soccer skills, participate in fun games, and enjoy healthy competition. Soccer Shots emphasizes character-forming lessons such as fair play, individual concentration, cooperation, and encouragement. Space is limited, so sign up early! Maximum enrollment: 30

  • Wrestling

    Join Varsity Wrestling Head Coach Jack Effner in this physical development program that introduces students to the sport of wrestling. Students will learn the basics of wrestling through skills training and practice sessions. Get ready, as this activity will be challenging with sport-specific games and competitions. Sessions will be fun for students with a variety of physical activities mixed with important fundamentals of wrestling.
