• Select the "settings" icon on the upper right corner of the app

• Select Notifications

• Select Allow Notifications

• Select the individual newsletters and alerts to receive notifications.

Please Note: The chat feature is used exclusively for athletics teams. Parents and students should plan to communicate with teachers through MyCompass or email, unless otherwise instructed.

• Select Chat from the bottom navigation

• If you have not previously signed in, please enter your MyCompass login email address

Step 3

• You will be directed to log in to your account

Step 4

• Chat rooms you have been assigned to are in top half of the screen
• Direct messages are located along the bottom half

Chat in a Chat Room

• Click on chat rooms with a notification bubble next to them. This means you have Unread Messages.
• Start a chat message.
• Reply to a chat message by starting a thread.
• Send files such as images, documents, and more. 
• Engage in conversations using emojis. 

Send and Receive Direct Messages

• Create a new direct message.  
• Reply to direct messages.
• Message multiple parents at once.
• Send files, photos, and fliers.
• React to messages in a modern way with emojis.
