Admissions Requirements
Prekindergarten (3 and 4-Year-Old Program)Applicants must be age 2 years and 10 months by the first day of school and completely toilet trained. Parents new to Cape Henry Collegiate should
create an online account. After creating an account, parents should log in to their new account, select their child's name, and click the "Fill Out" button located to the right of the Admissions Application. Parents will need to complete all sections of the
Application for Admission and submit the $50 application fee. The family will be contacted by the Admissions Department to schedule a visit during which the applicant will be invited to spend a partial day in our Prekindergarten classroom.
Kindergarten/TransitionApplicants must be 5 years old by September 30. Parents new to Cape Henry Collegiate should
create an online account. After creating an account, parents should log in to their new account, select their child's name, and click the "Fill Out" button located to the right of the Admissions Application. Parents will need to complete all sections of the
Application for Admission and submit the $50 application fee. The family will be contacted to schedule an appointment for the student to come to the School for an individual developmental assessment test. There is also a
Kindergarten Admission Information - Teacher's Rating Form which is given by the family to the current teacher. The teacher is to mail the completed form directly to Cape Henry.
Grades 1 - 3Parents new to Cape Henry Collegiate should
create an online account. After creating an account, parents should log in to their new account, select their child's name and click the "Fill Out" button located to the right of the Admissions Application. Parents will need to complete all sections of the
Application for Admission and submit the $50 application fee. The
Student Assessment for Applicants Grades 1–5 form must be completed by a current teacher. The teacher is to mail the completed form directly to Cape Henry. A
Transcript and Records Request Form should be signed by the parent and submitted to the student’s school. The family will be contacted and given an appointment for the student to come to the Cape Henry for an individual developmental assessment test. Students are also invited to spend a partial day with their current grade level peers.
