Common Experience

What is Common Experience?

  • Cape Henry’s Common Experience is a program designed to help students develop the mindsets and behaviors needed to succeed in our Upper School and, more importantly, to prepare them for the challenges that await them after graduation.

  • The Common Experience curriculum is built around four competencies that help students grow into well-adjusted, independent adults: Self-Growth and Goal Setting, Relationship Skills, College and Career Planning and Physical and Mental Health.

  • Through our assemblies, seminar, advisory meetings, and clubs our students refine these competencies and make progress in developing as well-rounded individuals.
