We know physical wellness benefits both the body and mind. Whether it is practicing athletic skills, stretching your muscles, running around the block, or even taking a walk together with the family, Cape Henry Collegiate encourages all members of the community to stay active.
During remote learning, it is even more important for people of all ages and abilities to be as active as possible. According to the World Health Organization, "Even a short break from sitting, by doing three to five minutes of physical movement, such as walking or stretching, will help ease muscle strain, relieve mental tension, and improve blood circulation and muscle activity. Regular physical activity can also help to give the day a routine."
Cape Henry Collegiate is proud to have Mr. Phil Reichhoff '12, our Director of Fitness and Performance, providing brief workout videos to keep students of all ages moving and maintaining their physical wellness.
