Our summer programs are offered for students ages 3-17, and span a wide variety of opportunities to accommodate a broad range of student interest. The fun begins in June, and runs through August. Whether you are looking for artistic enrichment, athletic instruction with the Dolphin Sports Academy, academic enhancement, or just a lot of FUN, the “SUMMER AT THE CAPE” is for you!
In Summer 2015, Summer at the Cape offered over 80 different camps, with 60 camps lead by CHC faculty or staff members. The campus was bustling with activity all summer long, hosting over a thousand campers in various different programs, including our day camps, specialty and academic camps, as well as our athletic camps.
Cape Henry offer a wide variety of specialty camps that offer students the opportunity to explore a range of interests from art and magic to fashion and dance. The “SUMMER AT THE CAPE” specialty camps are designed to give students an opportunity to develop their skills beyond the traditional classroom or athletic field settings.
Cape Henry's specialty camps will offer a variety of art programs, music/dance, theater, magic, cooking, and outdoor adventures! There is something for everyone to explore, and we hope to see you in 2016!
Cape Henry athletics has established itself as one of the most successful athletic programs throughout the state of Virginia and beyond. Much of that success is due to our wonderful coaching staff, which is committed to the development of the whole person. Along with that commitment, our coaches here at Cape Henry are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. This combination creates a wonderful camp setting to encourage students to improve their skills.
The Dolphin Sports Academy at Cape Henry will offer a wide variety of athletic camps including basketball, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, wrestling, tennis, cheerleading, and many others. The “SUMMER AT THE CAPE” hopes your student-athlete will join us next summer.
Cape Henry Collegiate offers a wonderful academic program aimed to develop the student beyond the traditional school year. The student may choose from a variety of courses ranging from mathematics to foreign languages. The summer academic program offers a wonderful student-to-teacher ratio, which is extremely important for the development of the student.
PLEASE NOTE: Campers may not attend more than 5 weeks (25 days) of Athletic camps in a three-month period per Social Services regulations.
